it's all part of my plot...

I hate that there are little purses with pictures of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn and Princess Di. I hate that we idolize the people who look pretty on a handbag. I hate that Mother Teresa and Princess Diana died on the same day and that everyone cried that it was such a tragedy for such a promising, kind, beautiful young lady to die. What about the other tragic deaths that are happening every single day? How many people would be willing to make some kind of sacrifice to be able to go back in time and prevent that stupid car crash that killed Princess Diana? And how many people would be willing to make the same sacrifice to prevent an African child from dying from malaria or aids or something? Would they do it to save a dozen, or even a hundred? We look at people like Mother Teresa and say "yes it's sad she died, but she was a good woman and she lived a great life full of good deeds". Did anyone ever stop to realize the good deeds shouldn't just stop? It's not like when Elvis died and everyone had to say "well he wrote good music, and there will just never be anything like it again". Caring about the other humans on the globe isn't something only one person can do, and it's not going to happen on its own. Mother Teresa didn't live that way because she wanted everyone to consider her a saint when she died. She was like, an example. She was an extreme illustration for the whole world to look at and see that, 'oh, people should help people if they can at all in any way'. She gave up anything else she might have wanted from life to point out that the most important thing in life is absolutely not to be a pretty pretty princess.
